Kornati sailing adventure will take you to discover this crown in the best possible way – sailing.
“On the last day of the Creation God desired to crown His work, and thus created the Kornati islands out of tears, stars and breath”, wrote George Bernard Shaw.
Croatia is one of the most popular European destinations for sailing, and undoubtedly, the Kornati Islands are its best part. The coastal waters of Sibenik contain an archipelago of numerous islands. There are 152 islands in this archipelago and, in addition, 89 of them are part of Kornati National Park, founded to protect their beauty for the future. As a result, the Kornati archipelago will take your breath away with its crystal clear waters, unearthly peaceful atmosphere, and marvelous views.
We start our sailing expedition in Skradin. On the very edge of the Krka National Park. Before we sail out to the islands we take our bikes from Skradin to the 44-meters high Skradinski Buk waterfall and visit one of Croatia’s most popular national parks, the Krka River National Park. The fantastic karst formations and travertine waterfalls make it a beautiful swimming area.

Today we sail to Kornati National Park. We will explore its many islands, islets, and reefs, sail through the narrow straits, swim, and SUP most of the day. In the evening we anchor in one of the bays of Kornat, the largest island of the archipelago. We hike up to the viewpoint at the top of the island to take a different view of this magnificent archipelago.
