All about the trip

Join us to explore the beautiful side of Manavgat and the Taurus Mountains with this Jeep 4x4 off-roading adventure. As well as enjoying an awesome off-roading experience, we will also swim in the Green Lake and enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch once we're there. We will also visit some Roman Aquaducts, the gorgeous Manavgat Waterfall and the ancient city of Seleucia. This is an action-packed day and a great way to see more of the incredible Turkish countryside.

Our day begins with collection from your hotel in Side or Manavgat. The first stop will be near to the Roman Aquaducts as its an excellent place for taking photos and listening to a short history lesson. After this, we will drive onwards to the ancient city of Seleucia where we will enjoy another history lesson as well as visit a typical rustic village dwelling. Before hitting the road again there will be enough time to try a traditional Turkish snack, 'Gözleme', which is a yummy flatbread-style pastry.

Our next stop will be at Oymapinar Dam to spend 20 minutes enjoying the scenery and taking pictures of the Green Canyon and Green Lake.

Back on the road, you should be getting excited as we head towards these emeralds in the distance, as once we get to the Green Lake it will be time for lunch. Upon arriving at Green Lake there will be time to swim and enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch together.

After Green Lake, we will then visit an old village mosque and listen to a history lesson about the Islamic influence on the region. Next, we will stop at Manavgat Waterfall to enjoy the scenery at this fabulous spot and take a photo or two. From here it will then be another 20 minutes or so back to Side to return you to your hotel or accommodation. So join us for an exciting day in the Turkish countryside on this unforgettable adventure.
