All about the trip

Visit Bái Đính Pagoda. The Buddhist spiritual center is the largest temple in Vietnam. Experience the atmosphere of the original pagoda located in small caves on the mountainside. Admire the beauty of Tràng An Landscape Complex on a tour by the traditional wooden sampan boat.

We drive from Hanoi to Ninh Bình. During the 100-km journey we can enjoy views of rural landscape.

Bái Đính Temple boasts several Vietnamese records and one of them is a 100-tonne bronze statue of Buddha. The original pagoda is hidden in a series of caves we can enter after climbing 300 stone steps and passing an ornamental gate.

After the temple excursion we replenish our energy and enjoy lunch in a restaurant serving local specialities such as exquisite goat meat with elderberry.

We then board a sampan boat and set off to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tràng An Landscape Complex. The area known for boat cave tours has rich fauna and flora. Its unique ecosystem is formed by limestone mountains and rivers.
