All about the trip

Come see Cheung Chau and the surrounding waters in a different light! Paddle under the night sky and watch the distant lights of Hong Kong island and passing ships twinkle as you slip quietly around the coast. Sometimes when we are lucky we see bioluminescence which highlights our paddles as they pass through the water, making them glow with unearthly light.

Afterward, stroll into the village to see the night market emerge, with a variety of cooked food and cold drinks available.

What to take with you?

Please bring your camera, reusable water bottle (at least 1L), insect repellent, swimwear, long sleeve top, towel, change of dry clothes, and closed-toed shoes to wear while kayaking. These must cover your toes and heel and stay on your feet if you fall into the water. Flip flops, Crocs or bare feet are not acceptable! We can provide dry bags for the things you want to carry with you for the day. Other items that you do not want to get wet can be locked up at our base.
