All about the trip
On this tour, we will visit the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. A panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus is one of the most astonishing creations of ancient architects. You can also take many amazing photos here.
The Valley Temple, which you will visit after, was used for burials of rulers of ancient Egypt. It was buried under the sand until French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette discovered it in 1852.
The Spinx is one of the most known Egyptian sites. There are many stories and mysteries surrounding the Sphinx. It was a mythological creature with the body of a lion and a human head and also a guardian of the pyramids.
You can have lunch in a local restaurant or relax a bit and take some photos. After lunch, we will go to visit the Museum of Egyptian antiquities. It is one of the oldest museums in the world. It offers a huge amount of Egyptian artefact, but the biggest attraction is still King Tutankhamen’s treasure.
We will then visit traditional bazaars, as this is is a unique opportunity to meet local people and buy some souvenirs.
Two hours before the departure time of your cruise ship, we will drive back to port. If there is enough time left, you can take some photos of Ain Sokhna Port. What Wikipedia Says
