All about the trip

Joining this tour you will discover the most beautiful beach of Santorini, the Red beach, which has similar color with lava, details about the wine heritage of the island tasting the most popular varieties. Itinerary

	Prophet Elias Monastery - The highest spot of the island where the monastery is located will leave you breathless with the 360° views. Mountain Profitis Ilias, lies on the southeast edge of Santorini, 3 kilometers away from Pyrgos village, the highest settlement of the island, 565 meters above the sea. On your way you will set eyes on vast vineyards and impressive mountainous landscapes. It is an ideal route for trekking and when you arrive you will be rewarded with the panoramic views and the serenity it has to offer.
	Red Beach - Red Beach is without a doubt worth a visit considering that it is a rare sight, probably unique in the whole world, where red is the dominant color. It is enclosed by steep red hills that create a captivating, wild scenery. If you stand on the top you will set eyes on enormous volcanic rocks situated in the sea, small pebbles and sand of various colors, mainly red, all along the beach and appealing dark blue waters. This wonderful palette of contrasting colors will mesmerize you. Another natural marvel the volcano created.
	Lost Altlantis Museum - Atlantis is the most famous mythological island of all times. It was considered to be a utopia. Its impact in literature and the arts is prominent throughout the centuries. The Lost Atlantis experience museum was created in Santorini, one of the alleged location of mythological island of Atlantis. The experience is situated in a unique building that spans 700 sqm (7,500 sq ft), near the village of Megalohori. The Lost Atlantis experience is a private initiative, which promotes Greek heritage, culture and mythology.
	Local Winery - It is not a secret that the island has some of the most amazing wineries and wine tours in the world. And there is a very good reason for it. Santorini wines are amazing! Wine production on the island dates back to the ancient times and the famous “Assyrtiko” variety of Santorini is famous all over the world. The thing with Santorini’s vineyards is that the amazing indigenous varieties, the island’s unique ecosystem, along with the volcanic soil, strong winds, rare rainfalls and the hot and dry summers result in wines of a uniquely intense and complex character with high gastronomic value.
	Volcano - One of the greatest attractions of Santorini and of utmost importance is the volcano, whose former intense activity gave the island its current shape and morphology. Before the several volcanic eruptions that occurred throughout the years, some of which were submarine, the size and the shape of Santorini were quite different. It was a much larger, round island, hence its name used to be Strogili.
	Hot Springs - The island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. A place that is really popular for its thermal waters.
	Thirassia - Stop for dinner to a traditional tavern next to the sea.
