All about the trip

Join in for an exciting day of canyoning at Gours du Ray canyon! This specific canyon is situated in the heart of Gorges du Loup in the middle of a wooded valley near the village of Gréolières. Consider this as a "novice canyon", which is perfect for beginners! The course is filled with natural slides, jumps, and cliffs for rappeling to get your adrenaline pumping. One of the best parts of the canyon is that steep jumps are avoidable! For those who prefer a smooth walk without the need of equipment, this is the best canyon for you! The are is located 1 hour from Grasse and 50 minutes from Castellane in the upper "Valley of the Wolf", the trip includes transportation to the start point. This trip is perfect for groups or families looking for an exciting excursion in the Alps. The area is unique because of the lush green valley and deep basins.

During the journey, you will be accompanied by our expert guide, who will begin the tour with a safety briefing. The guide will discuss the technical points of the path and inform you of what to expect in the canyon. You will also try on your wetsuits and learn about the equipment. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have; we want you to feel safe and excited about the tour!

The area is surrounded by majestic cliffs, steep slopes, and cavernous caves; all highlighted by cobalt blue water. The adventure in the canyon will last around 1-hour and 30 minutes. During the trek, you will jump from high cliffs, splash, and play in the pristine water observing the wonderful surroundings.
