All about the trip

Our first stop on this afternoon tour is in Þingvellir National Park the founding place of the oldest existing parliament in the world. This is also where the huge tectonic plates of America and Eurasia drift apart and the rift valley is there before your eyes on the shores of Iceland’s biggest lake.

The, we visit the Geysir Hot Springs, the home of the original geyser and one of Iceland’s most famous natural attraction. Here the ground shakes and steaming hot water erupts regularly from the Strokkur Geyser.

Our last stop is at Gullfoss Waterfall, where you can walk down to the edge of the waterfall. Here the powerful glacial river falls down 32 meters and into a narrow canyon with a thunderous roar.

What to take with you?

Please, dress according to weather. In Iceland, it is always wise to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden, so expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.
We recommend that you bring your own headphones, simply because they will fit you best. If you don’t have your headphones, with you or forgot to bring them, no worries we sell earphones on board.
