All about the trip

Discover the otherworldly beauty of Halong Bay. Board a traditional junk boat and explore its emerald waters dotted with islets covered with jungle vegetation. See a floating fishing village and visit the mysterious Thien Cung cave.

The ride from Hanoi to Halong City is a great opportunity to just sit back, store in the energy for the day and watch the scenic countryside around.

After 3 hours we arrive to Halong Wharf where we board a junk boat and set sail to explore the extraordinary area. The limestone islets of various shapes are home to many endemic flora and fauna species.

Several of them are hollow hiding enormous caves. We visit one of them. Thien Cung grotto has a number of large chambers containing stalactites and stalagmites.

We enjoy a delicious seafood lunch cooked freshly on board and continue to the southern part of the bay. We visit a floating village of fishermen living on floating houses.

Exploring remote areas of the bay on kayak is a wonderful adventure we can experience at the end of our cruise before returning back to the harbor.
