- Incredible views of a world famous mountain range

All about the trip
Starting to the west of Mont Blanc in the ski village of Megève, we steadily ascend over the many incredible glaciers and mountain ranges of the French Alps all from the comfort of a state-of-the-art helicopter.
You will first see Col du Petit and St. Bernard before we fly over the border towards Lancebranlette, Mrivadi, Pointe Lechaud, Col de la Seigne
and Aiguille des Glaciers.
During this 20-minute flight you will also have an exceptional view of the Val Veny, the beautiful Lake Combal, the glacier of Lex Blanche, and also the Italian side of Mont Blanc which is coupled with an incredible view of the uniquely-shaped Matterhorn.
Often considered to be the birthplace of modern alpine climbing, mountaineering lovers will most-likely be familiar with all of the history linked to the hugely-popular Mont Blanc, whose summit was first reached back in 1786. French for ‘white mountain’ the king of the Alps is popular with experienced climbers nearly all year round.
As we return, we will fly past the Cormet de Roseland, an alpine mountain pass which forms part of the world-famous Tour de France.
Keen-eyed passengers are also potentially able to spot some of the incredible wildlife that inhabits the Alps. These could include the famous mountain antelopes, the Chamois ibex; or perhaps some of the magnificent eagles that nest high-up in the mountain tops, or maybe even a very-rare, bearded vulture.
With so much to see in all directions, please do remember to charge your camera batteries and bring an extra memory card with you. We know from first-hand experience that you will want to take more photos than you originally intended.
Also, don’t forget to bring some sunglasses too, as it can get quite bright when flying through the Alps on summer days.
Please remember to arrive 30 mins earlier than the flight time as there will be a briefing on helicopter safety from your pilot.
