All about the trip

Explore all the faces of Ho Chi Minh City and visit the places connected with its turbulent history and busy present. See the Reunification Palace where the war ended in 1975. Tour the colonial era sights including Notre Dame Cathedral and visit Ben Thanh Market where you can get almost anything you can think of.

Our first stop is the Reunification Palace also known as Independence Palace. The Vietnam War ended here in 1975. An exposition related to the history of the war is displayed in the War Remnants Museum, our next stop.

We go farther back in time when we visit the sights from the colonial era. Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon was established by French. Old Post Office is another example of classical French colonial architecture.

Enough of history, now we delve into present as we visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market. The large marketplace is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon. You can roam its alleys and shop for handicrafts, textiles, the traditional áo dài dresses and souvenirs.
