All about the trip
We depart after breakfast for the Kuala Lumpur Tower which is 421 meters high and houses the telecommunication and meteorological stations and a revolving restaurant. National Monument – a war memorial in memory of our fallen heroes. Independence square – Unique colonial landmark of Moorish design built by the British. This was the venue where the British flag the Union Jack was lowered and the Malaysian flag raised on 31 August 1957 being Malaysia’s Independence Day. St. Mary’s Cathedral – Gothic design Anglican Cathedral. Queen of England is the patron of the church. Royal Selangor clubhouse is an exclusive clubhouse of Tudor styled design patronised by the British elites. Railway Station Moorish and Islamic architecture built by a British designer.
