All about the trip
After breakfast, we depart for Independence Square in Kuala Lumpur, where Malaysia got her independence on August 31st, 1957. While in Kuala Lumpur, you should see the most important landmarks of the city. A truly significant landmark of Mogul architecture is Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Selangor clubhouse is the Tudor styled clubhouse which was the meeting place for the British elite. St. Mary’s church is an old Anglican church with the Queen of England being its patron. A sight with Twin towers is ideal for making some great photos.
After seeing Kuala Lumpur highlights, we proceed to the famous Batu Caves and climb 272 steps to the temple of Hindu deity honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam, every year in January. Please keep in mind that ladies must be properly attired to enter the temple.
At 12:00, after a Malaysian lunch, a 30-minute drive takes us to mesmerizing seven-tier 120 meters high waterfalls for a chill-out. Upon arrival at the base, a 30-minute jungle walk to the waterfall is an easy, exhilarating uphill trekking. The waterfall pool is a nice spot to swim and chill. These waterfalls are home of the macaque monkeys which can be commonly seen here. Return transfer will take you to your hotel at 17:00.
