All about the trip
This tour will start by visiting the Citadel of Salah El Din, which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in the year 1183 to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders.
After that, you will enjoy Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man, who came from Istanbul and built this grand mosque for Mohamed Ali. Mohamed Ali was the ruler of Egypt, who ruled over 45 years (1805-1849).
Next stop is a visit to Old Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church and Synagogue. We will take you back to your hotel at the end of the tour in comfort of our car.
