All about the trip
This is a special opportunity to visit the traditional Norwegian cottage and have a local lunch. To get to the cabin, please, take bus 450 from the city centre to come to us. We will be waiting for you at the bus stop Sør-Vågnes snuplass to guide you along the 1,3 km walk uphill to the polar cabin. If there is good snow condition, we will use snowshoes, which we can lend you. You can explore the beautiful birch forest area around the cabin unguided and at your own pace. Our polar cabin is comfortable, cozy and warm. You will get a hot lunch (local traditional bacalao, tea, coffee, dessert). After lunch and relax in the cabin, we guide you to the bus stop, from where you will take the bus back to the city.
