All about the trip

Enjoy a private hike to the magnificent Sekumpul Waterfall hidden in lush jungle. Take a small path to see 6 streams of the waterfall cascading down the dense forest. Visit a coffee plantation and taste the unique coffee Luwak. Admire the major Hindu water temple of Pura Ulun Danu Bratan floating on the waters of Lake Bratan.

In the morning we drive to a coffee plantation where we can learn how coffee Luwak is made. The most expensive coffee in the world is processed using beans previously digested by civets. We can taste coffee and tea produced at the plantation. All the tasting is complimentary except for coffee Luwak which is for extra USD 5.

Then we drive to the starting point of our hike. We walk down a small path through the jungle with hundreds of stairs to see the magnificent waterfall from the distance at first. When we walk up closer we enjoy the stunning view of the water running down 80 m through the lush vegetation.

We have lunch in a local restaurant and continue to the temple of Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. The temple located on the shores of Lake Bratan is dedicated to Shiva.
