We will pick you up at your hotel in Lagos and be on our way. We will head towards the historic village of Silves, where we will discover the corners of this Algarve village. The castle is a must-see, where we will get to know this fantastic monument better. The Silves Cathedral right next door also calls us to be discovered. We will visit the Archeology Museum of Silves, a unique place, full of historical pieces that tell the history of the region. We will also stop for a wine tasting, where you will taste some of the wines produced in the region. Then we will go down and walk along the river Arade. If you feel hungry, we can have some lunch (not included in trip price).
In the afternoon we go to the mountains! Monchique is right up there. Before that, we will stop at the thermal spa of Caldas de Monchique, a very picturesque place full of history and an unparalleled natural beauty. You will get to see some of the well-known thermal spring water sources. With evergreen vegetation, Monchique allows us to have fantastic views. The small town of Monchique is quite warm and we can walk in its small streets. We then go to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve and one of the largest in Portugal. With 902 meters of height, we will be able to have a breathtaking 360º view. What Wikipedia Says
