All about the trip

is We will start in the scenic town of Bled that we call our home. It is known for its little lake, the fairy-tale-like church island and the amazing medieval castle overlooking the area from the castle rock above the lake. The road will take us on a drive through the Zgornjesavska Dolina valley towards Kranjska Gora. We will take a short break at lake Jasna and enjoy the scenic view of the beautiful nature.

From there we will continue along a windy road into the mountains. This will be an ascent towards the highest Slovenian mountain pass Vršič. We will stretch our legs with a refreshing hike to the nearest peak for another breathtaking view.

The descent from Vršič will take us into the Trenta valley known for its rich historical heritage and pristine nature. A short hike will take us to the stunningly beautiful source of the emerald river Soča. We can fill our water bottles with the crystal clear spring water.

When we descend into the town of Bovec we will have an awesome opportunity to go on the best rafting trip in Slovenia, or just have a quiet lunch break.

After all the sights and impressions, we will take a car train ride to the Bohinj valley which is one of the highlights of this adventure-filled trip. There we will check out Bohinj Lake, the old stone bridge and St John’s church. After a stroll around the area, a short ride will take us back to the beautiful town of Bled.
