SUP at the Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Please make sure that you are comfortable in the water and are able to swim. You should be at least a bit physically fit. Also, you should not have a problem with wearing sometimes tight & constricting dry suit. Make sure that you have read, signed, and followed directions on the Silfra Snorkeling Medical Statement and also signed our liability release form at the start of the tour. You must be at minimum 145 cm (4’9) tall and maximum 200cm (6’7) tall. Your weight should be at minimum 45 kg (99 lbs) and maximum 120 kg (264 lbs). This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity.

All about the trip
Join our small group for a stand-up paddleboard adventure on the magical 100 km long Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West-Iceland. This location truly has everything the diverse nature in Iceland has to offer, such as sparkling fjords, vast lava fields, wildlife, glistening glaciers, tons of black and golden beaches and towns and villages with friendly folk.
Stand-up paddleboarding, or SUP, is an activity for everyone and there is no need for prior experience as we’ll teach you the technique. This particular SUP tour is around 12 hours so it is a full day of adventures.
Your guide will be picking you up from your accommodation in Reykjavik and you’ll be driving through incredible nature with amazing views around Snæfellsjökull Glacier and stopping at various iconic places including Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall and the towns Stykkishólmur and Arnarstapi.
The stand-up paddleboarding will take place at the renowned Kirkjufell which is amongst the most photographed mountains in Iceland. This SUP location is absolutely idyllic, with breathtaking views and picturesque landscape.Watch on Youtube

In case of cancellations due to weather, customers shall receive a full refund or be able to reschedule the tour, depending on availability.
