All about the trip

Visit the most famous sites in Luxor and on both sides of the river Nile. Our highlights will be Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings, as well as Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon.

In the Valley of the Kings, you can see the magnificent architecture used for burial tombs of pharaohs. The most known tombs can be found here such as King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and Amonhotep II.

For the next stop on the journey, we will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I. She was the only pharaon woman who reigned ancient Egypt. On our way, we will pass by the Colossi of Memnon which are the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

We will continue to the East bank of Luxor to optionally enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

We cannot forget to visit one of the most incredible sites of ancient Egypt, the Karnak Temples. It is an astonishingly well-preserved place of worship dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.

To end our day, we will visit the Temple of Luxor, which was founded by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II.

Our driver will drive you back to your hotel in Luxor.
