All about the trip

Explore Madeira with a cool and classic Fiat Panda 4x4 in this 4-hours private safari tour. Your guide will make your adventure fun and easy, and Madeira will give you an excellent reason to explore this astonishing island in the Atlantic.

Your adventure begins with your guide picking you up from your accommodation in Funchal. After that, you go straight to Câmara de Lobos, to a beautiful viewpoint of the fisherman village. From here, you can see the place where Winston Churchill practiced painting during the time he lived in Madeira.

Following your schedule, you drive towards Cabo Girão, Europe's highest sea cliff, where you have a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal.

Once you finish this part of the tour, you go through a short safety briefing before you start your off-road adventure. Your guide explains the basics of off-road driving, and then you jump to the driver's seat. You pass by the vineyards and go towards Boca da Corrida. In the vineyards, you face fun and challenging course to test your off-road driving skills.

Now it’s time to drive in a Levada. You stop at Boca da Corrida, where you can admire the real view from the mountains.

Once you finish this leg of your adventure, you have time for a break in an authentic local bar for a session of Poncha tasting, a local alcoholic beverage made with sugar cane rum.

After this injection of "courage," you have another off-roading session. This time you drive towards Boca dos Namorados for the last stop to see Curral das Freiras before heading back to the town.

On the way back to Funchal, you drive through old roads, where you can see all the vineyards used to make the Madeira Wine.
