- Drive an Arctic truck around 20 km in snow
- Hot meal in Camp Tamok (Sami herdsmen's tent)
All about the trip
You will drive on-road and off-road, and the later can be somewhat challenging. You will be surprised how the Arctic truck navigates through the snow. Before setting off, you will receive thorough instructions on how to operate the vehicle. You will drive with one or two passengers in addition to the guide. You will be able to switch places during the trip, so everyone gets the opportunity to drive. You will drive about 20 km on the road before heading off-road. As your guide will explain, you must deflate the tyre pressure before driving into the deep snow. This widens the tyre surface and increases the vehicle's ability to float on the snow. Your Arctic truck experience will involve both uphill and downhill driving in challenging terrain.
