All about the trip

Enjoy a full-day hike through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley. Discover the traditional culture of the villages where the Black Hmong community lives. You will get a chance to taste their cuisine as well. And experience the adventure of crossing a suspension bridge.

The trail to Y Linh Ho Village leads through rice paddies which can be vibrant green or golden brown depending on the season.

After crossing a suspension bridge we continue our exploration of Black Hmong culture in the village of Lao Chai. We enjoy a delicious lunch in a Hmong house overlooking the river Muong Hoa.

We continue to the village of Ta Van where we can get a glimpse of the daily life of local people and Tay culture.

From there we return to Sapa either by motorbike or minibus depending on the size of the group.

What to take with you?

Please wear light comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities and comfortable walking shoes. Take a small day pack for hiking and bring your passport, hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, sunscreen, raincoat, some snacks and a bottle of water.
