All about the trip

Whether it is your first time holding a paddle or you are a canoeist with certain experience, you will definitely enjoy canoeing trip on Zrmanja River. Upon your arrival, the guides will help you with the preparation. You don’t need a previous canoeing experience. We use two-person sit-on-top canoes which are easy and safe to handle.

Since you are about to get a bit wet, we will provide you with a waterproof barrel for your picnic, towels, water, sun cream, camera or any other personal item. Once you are ready, we will give you a life jacket, a helmet, a paddle (a neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of colder weather) and in no time we will turn you into a professional-looking canoeist. Finally, your trip leader will give you safety instructions and teach you how to steer the boat, and we are off! At the beginning of the trip which is calmer, you will get enough time to practice your steering and paddling skills. When you get hungry, we will take you to the beautiful Krupa River for a self-brought picnic and swimming break. After paddling through rapids, down waterfalls, swimming and witnessing the beauty of nature to its fullest, we transfer you back. Our trip ends in Muskovci village, where you change into dry clothes.

Please take note, that the minimum age for the activity is 6 years and all participants must know how to swim. All children who participate in this activity must be accompanied by a guardian (adult person).

Please note that the trip won’t be running if there will be less than 4 people on the trip. In such a case you will be fully refunded.

What to take with you?

We recommend bringing shorts or a bathing suit, T-shirt, and spare clothes. Also bring socks and sandals (or sports shoes), a towel, sun cream, and water. In case of colder weather, don´t forget to take a long-sleeved shirt. Also, please bring your picnic and water because it is not possible to buy them at the starting point.
