Set on the east bank of Nile river in southern Egypt, Luxor is the house of incredible underground mausoleums and temples constructed between the 16th and 11th centuries BC. This tour takes you to visit one of the most important sites of this area: the Karnak Temple.

As you explore the place, you can see that this complex compasses many ruins of temples, chapels, pylons, and other constructions. Between them is the cult temple dedicated to the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. This is the largest sacred fane ever constructed. The sacred enclosure of Amun alone could hold ten European cathedrals. Thus, this holy land can still overshadow many wonders of the modern world. It is no coincidence the ancient Egyptians called it “the most select of places.”
