All about the trip
Join us for a boat trip to the Batu Kelebit dive site. Located about 15mins from Tulamben Bay, Batu Kelebit is formed from two large rocks that lie just offshore. As you follow the sloping reef deeper the dive site becomes more and more interesting. You’ll see three steep ridges encrusted with a wonderful diversity of hard and soft corals, fire and table corals, many beautiful sea fans, and sponges.
Between the ridges are channels of grey and white sand at about 25 – 40m in depth. A great opportunity to see plenty of schools of big-eyed trevallies, fire dartfish, gold-specs jawfish, starry puffers and cuttlefish. Occasionally you will be able to see the “Mola-Mola” giant sunfish which ascend up from the depths.
This dive also offers the chance to swim with a DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle). As with all our sea dives, you will need diving experience and to be diver certified in order to participate on this activity.
