Benvenuti to the birthplace of the renaissance! The magical city of Florence awaits you for this incredible street food tour. This vibrant city is home to culture, art, and refined cuisine. Learn about the artists, philosophers, and the buildings as our passionate guide takes you through the city.

The food tour will begin from the Sant’Amrogio market; untouched by large tourist crowds. Our guide will show you the “local” way of avoiding all tourist traps. As we walk through the market you will notice dozens of stalls filled with colorful fresh produce. The cheerful vendors are eager for you to try their local seasonal products. The market offers tasty and traditional treats such as “crostino nero”; which is a delicate chicken liver pate. However, you must try the local favorite “panino al lamprededotto,” known as the classic Florentine sandwich. These tasty delights will be accompanied by local wines sourced from the area. As the tour progresses you will pass by some of Florence’s most famous monuments such as the Hercules and Cacus statue, the Duomo and much more. Lastly, as we end the tour near Ponte Vecchio across the Arno River, we will enjoy a seasonal dessert, paired with a glass of crisp Vin Santo wine. The view from the historical medieval bridge while enjoying your dessert adds the perfect touch for ending a fabulous day. This tour offers insight into the importance of Florentine cuisine and how it has shaped the city’s society.
