Join us at the Lefkas Diving Center for a course in learning to be a PADI Rescue Diver!

As with all Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) courses, it is ‘performance’ based. This course involves knowledge, development, and 5 rescue training sessions (in pool, confined or open water, from shore or boat) plus 4 open water rescue scenarios. During these sessions, you will cover, the psychology of rescue, preparation for emergencies, accident management, responding to diver emergencies, self-rescue, tired diver, panicked diver, response from shore or boat with both a responsive and unresponsive diver, distressed diver underwater, missing diver, surfacing the unresponsive diver, response at surface exit, first aid for pressure-related injuries, and lastly, oxygen administration.
