All about the trip
You’ll be picked up directly from the port or your hotel, so you won’t waste any time trying to find a meeting place. At 9:00, the group will disembark the ship and our guide will be at the portside to meet with you with a welcome sign (if needed). The tour will start by Wat Leu, constructed in 1964 it is located at the top of Sihanoukville mountain, great vantage points so be sure to have cameras ready. The paintings in the wat depict the life of Buddha as Wat Leu is an ancient Buddhist. The wat is famous for its religious significance and breath-taking mountain views. Next, we'll head to Wat Krom which is another picturesque wat that houses on its grounds a large reclining Buddha, and a shrine which is dedicated to the local deity, Yeah Mao. Behind the Vihear, several statues depict a Buddhist procession. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take some free time to relax and enjoy swimming on the beach. Wrap up the tour, you will quickly stop at The Phsar Leu Market that is the biggest traditional market in Sihanoukville. The building of this market is a well-known landmark in town, providing fruits, clothing, seafood, tailors, jewelry, barbers, and Khmer food. At the end of the tour, we'll transfer back to your hotel or ship by 17:00.
