All about the trip
We will pick you up in your hotel in Aswan and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor. The trip will take four hours but it is totally worth it, as you will see the best highlights of ancient Egypt.
It takes about three hours to get to Luxor. During this trip, you will see many sites on the West and the East bank of the Nile.
First, we will visit the famous Karnak Temple in Luxor, which is the largest place of worship that was ever built.
Its ancient name Ipet-isut means the most sacred of places. This temple, or more correctly, the complex of temples, was built more than two thousand years ago by different generations of pharaohs. In the complex, you can see breathtaking Hypostyle Hall, which is an incredible space full of giant pillars.
We can rest a little and have lunch at a local restaurant. After the lunch, we will transfer to the West bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, also known as Colossi of Memnon.
The next stop on this journey is a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where the most magnificent tombs have been discovered. These tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs.
Later during the day, we will visit the Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary. Queen Hatshepsut was the only female pharaoh.
Around 18:00 we will drive you back to the Safaga Port.
This tour is specifically designed to be wheelchair accessible. Our air-conditioned modern van is adapted for wheelchair travellers. What Wikipedia Says
